Co-Directors:
Vickie Labbe began her yoga studies in 1975 and has been teaching yoga for over 25 years. Her unique approach draws from years of study of many traditions of yoga, philosophy, and meditation. She brings warmth, wisdom, and humor to her teaching.
Jennifer Cooper discovered yoga in 1970 and began teaching in 1975. She enjoys sharing her years of study in various styles and techniques of yoga. Her experience includes twenty years of meditation practice and two trips to India.
Vickie and Jennifer have been administrating The Yoga Center together for over twenty years. They continue to study with nationally known teachers including Judith Lasater, Patricia Walden, Gabriel Halpern and many others. They have developed a teaching method that has evolved over years of study, practice, and teaching experience. They both bring a sense of humor and down-to-earth philosophy to their classes.

Additional Instructors:
Michael Doyle has studied at The Yoga Center since 1989 and also with nationally known teachers. Michael has been teaching since 1993. He is an inspiring and challenging teacher known for his gentle nature and sense of humor.
David Reese, P.T. is director of Falmouth Physical Therapy and has taught at The Yoga Center for 15 years. His teaching is enhanced by his sense of humor and knowledge of the body.
Rich Clarey has been a dedicated student at The Yoga Center for years. He attends workshops and classes regularly, and is a former Dean of Business at U.S.M.
Jessica Gandolf began her yoga practice in 1989 and has studied extensively at The Yoga Center for 10 years. She also has a Masters degree in Fine Arts and is a mother of two.
Maria Gabriel Drake is a massage therapist and has studied at The Yoga Center for over 20 years. Her interests also include Tai Chi, Jin Shin Jyutsu, and Energy Balancing.
Stacy Smith has studied yoga for nine years and recently began teaching at The Yoga Center in Portland, Maine. She completed her teacher training through the Classical Yoga Teacher Training program at Ocean Spirit Yoga. She approaches yoga in a holistic manner, blending the insights of Classical and Iyengar yoga with Ayurvedic teachings to nurture physical, psychological, and spiritual well-being.
Aleksandra Townsend has been a practitioner of yoga and a student of ayurveda since 2001. She graduated from a comprehensive 200 hour vinyasa yoga training in Richmond, Virginia. She has been teaching yoga in Virginia, Vermont, Maine and overseas in Poland. Aleksandra's classes are filled with passion, creativity and her attention to the needs of her students.
Jamie Worster, is a doula and certified prenatal yoga teacher. She has been a student of yoga since 2001. She loves to weave therapeutic techniques, mindfulness meditation and sense of humor into her yoga teaching. Jamie is honored to share with pregnant goddesses the joy and empowerment that is cultivated through community, meditation, yoga postures and breath work..
Dana Wieluns Legawiec is a yoga instructor, childbirth educator and mother who has been practicing yoga for over twenty years. She completed her teacher training at YogaWorks in Los Angeles and was certified in The Khalsa Way® Yoga for Pregnancy at Golden Bridge under the direction of Gurmukh. Dana shares her firsthand experience of the benefits of postnatal yoga with empathy, humor and joy.
